Travel Fair Returns to Fulton January 28!
Winter Texans from all over the United States and Canada are now
visiting the Coastal Bend to experience the wonderful weather and
friendly hospitality of this South Texas area. These part time residents
are spending the winter months in our warm climate enjoying the various
tourist attractions and outdoor activities such as birding, golfing and
fishing,
The 3rd Annual Coastal Bend Travel Fair will be held on Wednesday,
January 28, at the Paws & Taws Convention Center in Fulton. This event
is sponsored by the Texas Coastal Bend Regional Tourism Council and is
an opportunity for representatives from the 17 counties who make up the
Council to join together to showcase the diverse tourism opportunities
available to our residents as well as our winter visitors.
Free Admission…
The Travel Fair will be open to the public with free admission from 10
am to 4 pm. The Paws & Taws Convention Center, located at 402 Fulton
Beach Road in Fulton, will be filled with a variety of booths
representing tourism attractions from Cuero, Yorktown, Three Rivers,
Port Lavaca, Kingsville and Goliad as well as cities and towns
throughout the Coastal Bend. RV dealers from Rockport will also be on
site offering tours of several of their motor homes.
Door Prizes and Special Exhibits…
Highlights of the event will be door prizes, from each tourist
attraction, given away throughout the day plus the special exhibits of
the winners of the Coastal Bend Wildlife Photo Contest and the Aransas
County Visitors’ Photo Contest. Unique art from The Gallery of Rockport
and Windway Gallery will also be featured.

Fair to learn more about the Coastal Bend’s treasure trove of tourism
attractions, enjoy some first-rate exhibits and take home some door
prizes.
